La Romana – 2015 Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace

viva wyndham

Enjoy an incredible all-inclusive vacation (golfers & non-golfers) to Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace!

All-inclusive One & Two-week vacation includes:

  • Round trip flight from Winnipeg
  • Hotel – 4*
  • Food and beverages
  • Much more…

Here are some of the added benefits of our travel group:

  1. Resorts are site inspected in November, by one or two of our group leaders, to make sure that the food, service, and general condition of the rooms and grounds, are of 4*or 5* quality.
  2. The second reason is the prices we receive on excursions, once we are at destination. As a group, we can usually book an entire bus, on an excursion that everyone would enjoy, and it would be 50-70% less than the regular price, if you were to book it on your own.
  3. Every detail of the trip is taken care of from the time you arrive at the airport, till the time you return home. Resorts, when they see a big group coming, tend to make sure that they are looked after. They do not want anyone complaining, as it affects the whole group. Not that a hotel will admit it, but I do believe, we get preferential treatment to some degree.
  4. We have an information meeting, late in November, to go over the details of our trip, and will have a Transat Holidays representative there to answer any questions on baggage restrictions, seat selection, meals on the plane, passports, tourist cards, etc, that would apply to the flights. One of our tour leaders, who would have just returned from the site inspection, would give you a run down on the resort, and everything that you can do and see while you are there. We also try and organize a fun golf tournament for our group members who play, providing there is a course close to the resort.
  5. Lots of new friendships are formed.

Prepare yourself for some hardcore rest and relaxation, and plan to join the group at the all-inclusive Viva Dominicus Palace in La Romana, located on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic. This 83,000-sq-ft resort rests on the island’s most pristine, white-sand beach facing the verdant islands of Saona and Catalina.

NOTE: $100 Deposit required ASAP to reserve seat(s). Balance due on November 27th.

Should diving be your bag, whether you need a beginner’s lesson in the pool or were born with gills, grab a four-night, all-inclusive dive package and explore the Dominican Republic, marine-mammal style. You’ll find a wonderland beneath the shimmering indigo surf, as well as horse-eye jacks, sea turtles, spotted eagle rays and brain coral. Wreck divers won’t be able to resist the St. George, a 240-ft shipwreck resting 135 ft. below the surface of the water, just off the shore of Viva Dominicus Palace.

Land activities more your style? Grab a catamaran and explore the untouched perfection of Saona or Catalina. Or take some all inclusive dance lessons with that special someone.

Looking for something unique? Wander over to Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace’s sister resort, next door (all restaurants and drinks here a part of your all inclusive package as well), and take a trapeze lesson. The professional, trapeze-training team offers lessons for adults in the afternoon, while the mornings are reserved for children. And if you think you won’t get bragging rights for your newfound skills, a circus-themed show (every Friday) allows you to show off your big-top act to an awestruck public. While you’re basking in all that circus glory, why not do it poolside, lounging in a chair, rum punch in hand?

Now that you’ve worked up a good appetite, visit the La Yuca Buffet for some international cuisine, including grilled local fish, with a side of exotic, fresh fruit.

Sleeping too good this morning to get out of your king-sized bed? Pull back the curtains and gaze out at the surf from your Superior Ocean Front room, while Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace serves you a continental breakfast, room-service style.

To get to Bayahibe, you can either take a taxi at US$10 per taxi one way or the local bus for less than a dollar one way (it’s called a guagua and looks like a minivan). Ask at your hotel reception or main gate for where to catch the guagua to Bayahibe.
