PUTTING: most important part of the game!

This picture is self-explanatory. Groove you stroke by placing two clubs or aim sticks on the ground just slightly wider than your putter. Take 15-20 strokes without a ball and then with a ball providing you have some decent carpet to putt on. It’s all about repetition and developing muscle memory.

Andrew Rice, a great instructor, gave an educational seminar for Manitoba PGA members a few years ago. I was very impressed with his methodology and clarity of instruction. In his YouTube video he demonstrates an easy drill to create the sensation of the proper weight transfer at impact.
