Jacques Lavack Golf is offering novice golfers the opportunity to Get Golf Ready in 5 Days, an industry-wide adult player development program. Get Golf Ready, intended to bring adults into the game of golf in a fast, fun and affordable way, offers a series of five introductory lessons conducted by a PGA professional in a small-group environment.
Targeting the millions of adults who have limited or no experience with the game, the Get Golf Ready program offers five lessons that concentrate on basic skills instruction and provides background information on the game’s rules, etiquette and values. Overall, participants will gain insight into techniques regarding chipping and putting, full swing, half swing and bunker play as well as the fundamental guidelines of use and maintenance of golf equipment, keeping score and navigating the course, among others.
Get Golf Ready<
(Level 1 – two class offerings)
- 5 consecutive Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 beginning May 14, 2014
- 3 consecutive Saturdays from 2:00 to 3:45 beginning May 17, 2014
Get Golf Ready is designed to teach everything you’ll need to play golf in just a few lessons. PGA of Canada Professionals will show you that there are lots of ways to play by combining fun, friends and fitness. Each session will focus on the various golf skills you will use while playing. In addition to learning the basics, you will be guided onto the golf course to put your skills into action in a casual, friendly setting.
